I forgot how this went. Still, don’t be fooled. This may appear to be a candid picture. Yet, these two were fully aware of my presence.
Here’s some technical talk. I always set my camera’s ISO at 800. To me, that setting works well with flash. It captures ambient light.
The aperture was f/5.6. I use that in case I run across groups. With that setting, everyone in the pic comes out focused.
The shutter speed is 1/20 of a second. In the past, I used 1/60 or 1/90 shutter speeds. This was the camera’s automatic flash speed.
Today, I lower the speed. Lowering the shutter speed includes backgrounds like the buildings behind the two young ladies. With the automatic flash setting, you wouldn’t see the buildings
I photographed the two cuties three times. Out of those three shots, I preferred the first pic. That’s what you’re looking at now.
