A few years back, a friend hosted a Surrealist party. An event inspired by the surrealist art of Salvador Dalí.
Because the event looked interesting, I volunteered my photography services. As I photographed people dressed in costumes, I ran across longtime friend Mandaddy, lead singer of Gargamel! (The band’s name ends in an exclamation point.)
The technique I used for this photo is called selective color. That usually involves a black and white photo with some color in it.
In this photo, I decided to focus on Mandaddy’s red robe. I’m happy with the results. I can live with it.
This photo is in my book Selective Color. Available on Amazon.
